| Итог: | This research aims to determine the influence of breastfeeding on the nutritional status of infants under one year of age treated at the "San Miguel" Health Center during the period March- July 2022, the methodology applied in this study was descriptive, quantitative , field, with cross section; We worked with an intentional sample of 50 infants from 0 to 12 months of age, the instrument used was previously validated, which allowed us to collect data for the study. For the analysis of information statistical software was used (SPPS, Who Anthro and Excel), as results we obtained that more than 50% of the women are within the age range of 21-30 years, are single, with a secondary education, they are housewives, they have only one child; Regarding nutritional status, it was possible to show that 44% of women are overweight; Based on the analysis of the anthropometric measurements recorded in the clinical history of the infants, in relation to the nutritional indicators, the following results were obtained: Weight//age (78% Normal), Weight//height (52% Normal), Height //age (64% Normal), BMI//age (60% Normal), concluding that more than 50% of infants under one year of age are within normal parameters, but there were cases with alterations (Overweight, Emaciation , Short Size, etc) which should be continuously monitored, regarding the level of knowledge about breastfeeding in women, a "regular" result equivalent to 70% was obtained. We recommend improving family participation by promoting nutritional education, as well as carrying out regular check-ups of infants.
