Riassunto:This research report was carried out in the educational unit "23 de abril" of Sante Fe parish, Guaranda canton, Bolivar province, and its objective is to reduce attention deficit and hyperactivity through the use of didactic strategies in the second grade of General Basic Education. We consider it essential to carry out this problem, since it highlights an issue that is usually catalogued with little importance and is little known in our society. Therefore, we seek to determine efficient and effective didactic strategies that help to improve existing problems in the classroom, in order to improve the teaching and learning process, without the needs and characteristics of the children who suffer from this problem representing an obstacle. We also used the mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) and applied data collection instruments such as an observation form to students in order to know how is their interaction and behavior in the classroom, also an interview applied to the teacher where it was possible to evidence and identify the problems of attention deficit and hyperactivity in children of second grade EGB and how it affects their academic performance, we also used the bibliographic, analytical, deductive and statistical methods. In the proposal applied to children with attention deficit and hyperactivity a didactic guide was made, which allowed the teacher to improve their educational practices and develop cognitive skills in children in order to improve attention and reduce hyperactivity, to obtain a better teaching-learning process.
