Revalorización Cultural de la Parroquia Salinas Cantón Guaranda, Provincia de Bolívar, año 2024

The research was oriented to revalue the culture of the Salinas Parish by means of a SAISAL information system that helps tourist guides and different social actors to obtain additional income and subsistence activities, thus strengthening tourism needs and contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the community. The objective of this research was to design the prototype of the SAISAL information system for the cultural revaluation of the Salinas parish. Descriptive and deductive research methods were used. On the other hand, through interviews, direct observation and application of MINTUR files, in order to obtain data and opinions for the innovation of rural tourism in the Salinas Parish, the objective of which was to gather all the necessary information. The results show the need for a system with information for sustainable tourism development. In addition, 10 tourist attractions were identified in the community, 5 of which are natural attractions and 5 are cultural manifestations, which were key to the design of the system prototype. In conclusion, the information prototype called “SAISAL” was designed with the purpose of preserving and disseminating the memory of Salinas, allowing the organization, systematization and labeling of historical documents, audiovisuals and other relevant records of the town.
