要約:In early childhood education, school coexistence is closely linked to emotional development, as emotions directly influence interpersonal relationships and the learning process. For this reason, the present research, entitled "Emotions in the Development of the Social Environment in Children Aged 4 to 5 at the Verbo Divino Educational Unit, Bolívar Province, Guaranda Canton, Period 2025," had the general objective of understanding the importance of emotions in this environment. A qualitative approach was adopted due to its relevance for exploring phenomena in depth from the participants' perspective. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets and interviews, conducted with the children and the teacher. These instruments provided valuable information on emotional recognition, expression, and regulation in the school context. The results showed that most children aged 4 to 5 are at an intermediate stage of emotional development, that is, in the process of strengthening skills such as emotion recognition, empathy, and self-regulation. A small group has reached greater emotional maturity, which favors more harmonious coexistence; however, some children experience difficulties that disrupt group dynamics.
