| Achoimre: | The present work titled effect of three foliar fertilizers on the agronomic characteristics, flowering and fruit formation of the cocoa production system "Theobroma cacao L." It was developed in the Caluma canton, Bolívar province, with the following objectives: Characterizing the agronomic components of cocoa in each treatment; Identify the type of fertilization with the greatest response in cocoa; Determine in which of the treatments under study a higher flowering index is obtained. The first problem that is faced by being permanent and long-lived crops means that they have a lower production. Cocoa cultivars require many nutrients that are assimilable and in the area there is a great deficit due to ignorance of the proper use of fertilizers, lack of soil analysis or technical advice. In general, small farmers are unaware of pruning and rehabilitation injection techniques, maintenance of cacao specimens; the same that leads us to have cultivars with poor performance and low production. The methodology used was Fisher's test, Tukey's test at 5% to compare treatments and coincidence and regression analysis. Regarding the results obtained from the characteristics of the cocoa crop, a higher average was obtained in AP, DT and NBF in T4 "Control". At the end of the test it was possible to show that the best agronomic response based on fertilizers was with T1 Actimen (absence of nitrogen) at a dose of 500cc/ha since in Treatments T1,T2,T3 a shade of 60% was managed and the foliar fertilizers used were complete (N, P, K) presenting a lower survival due to the effect of diseases such as black corn, Monilla, Fusarium, it is worth mentioning that it is ideal for infection of Phy tophthora in a carbon nitrogen relationship and humid conditions and high temperatures; The variables that generated a positive relationship with the number of fruits were Plant height, Number of main and secondary branches, Diameter of the stem and main branch, Length and diameter of the fruit, Number of flower buds, Number of open and semi-open flower buds. |
