सारांश: | The objective of the study was to analyze the work environment and its influence on the efficiency of the staff of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito San José Ltda, in the Chimbo Canton, Province of Bolívar, year 2023, for which an exploratory and descriptive with a quantitative and qualitative approach, this included the application of employee surveys and an interview with the manager, as well as a statistical analysis of the collected data. Statistical analyzes revealed a significant correlation between the perception of effective communication between colleagues and commitment to work tasks, suggesting that a positive work environment can influence staff efficiency. Based on these findings, a comprehensive plan to improve the work environment was proposed that includes strategies to strengthen internal communication, promote effective leadership, and foster a collaborative work environment. It is expected that the implementation of these measures will contribute to improving the wellbeing and productivity of employees, as well as achieving the organizational objectives of the cooperative. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing analysis confirmed the relationship between work environment and staff efficiency, supporting the importance of addressing work environment as a key factor for organizational success. This study provides valuable information for companies interested in improving their work environment and the productivity of their staff.
