| Περίληψη: | The implementation of the Reading Corner is the space in the classroom, where, in an organized manner, books and materials that promote the development of reading and writing, their imagination and to be more orderly children 4 to 5 years of age are used. These Reading Corners should be located in a suitable place that has a large space, with cushions, rugs, chairs, so that it can provide a comfortable environment, which should contain a variety of texts depending on the age of each child, therefore, this helps them develop the ability to listen, understand and retain, as well as to analyze and create. In addition, it is the place where students sit to read; it is the area where they learn about letters. The research conducted with 1 early education teacher and 28 students from 4 to 5 years of age from the General School of Basic Education "24 de Mayo" Early Education II of Parallel "B", shows that they are not using various strategies in this place of learning, only storytelling is executed, when there are possibilities that can be done such as: exchange of readers, sponsorship, projects of elaboration of handmade texts, which will motivate children to be interested in reading and creativity. It is necessary that teachers also plan for the use of the classroom library, making an itinerary where the partial work of each of the activities that can be done with their group of students will be evidenced. In the Reading Corner, rules must also be established for its maintenance. Clear and simple rules must be established to maintain order, cleanliness and responsibility with respect to the material and spaces used. The little ones should always leave the place tidy and not spoil the materials they use", the children should also be taught the rules of care, the texts will last longer, and they will also be responsible for disseminating the texts to their families so that at home they can also put family reading into practice when the children take the text from school to home by means of a text loan |
