Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | According to the World Health Organization (WHO), parasitosis is a global health problem that affects millions of people, especially vulnerable and marginalized populations. This study was conducted in children aged 5 to 9 years from the La Asunción parish in the Chimbo Canton of the Bolivar Province in 2022. The incidence of parasites was established through clinical laboratory tests, as well as the identification of causative agents. Possible causes of the incidence were established through validated surveys, which were considered "very high" reaching ± 90%. This was mainly due to dietary and health habits, as well as basic infrastructure conditions. Finally, the results of this study were disseminated to the study community to take preventive and corrective measures against the incidence of parasites |
