总结:Brucellosis is an infectious disease classified as zoonotic, which affects cattle, goats and pigs. It is caused by the bacteria Brucella abortus and is characterized by causing abortions. The lack of recent studies on the prevalence of bovine brucellosis in the San Pablo parish of Atenas shows the need to carry out this research. The objectives set in the research were: 1) Diagnose the prevalence of Bovine Brucellosis in milk-producing farms using the Card Test method (Rose Bengal). 2)Identify the risk factors for the prevalence of Bovine Brucellosis. 3) Socialize the results obtained and propose to the ranchers of the San Pablo parish, a preventive plan for Bovine Brucellosis. A random sampling of 44 cattle was carried out, of which it can be stated according to our study that the prevalence of bovine brucellosis is 11.36%, results that were positive for brucellosis, while 88.64% of the samples gave a negative result. The positive tests of the Rose Bengal test were subjected to confirmation testing using the competitive ELISA assay. Percentage inhibition (PI) values greater than 50 were considered positive, and those ≤ 50 were considered negative. The results showed PI values of 13.97, 12.66, 16.51, 15.47 and 12.53 for the respective cases, which suggests that there is no prevalence of Bovine brucellosis in the study area.
