要約:The investigation arose because in the city of Guaranda especially in the urban center during recent years there has been a high growth of establishments dedicated to offer accommodation services and unfortunately no studies have been carried out to describe this reality (growth of the hotel sector) and with the purpose of knowing the contribution that it generates to the social development through the generation of employment and to establish if they are a contribution to the reactivation of the economy of the city, it has been sought to determine the economic movement that propitiates answering the questions in which quantity and which are the beneficiary cities, according to the resources that are mobilized from the hotel activity, considering the descriptive cross-sectional research since the dichotomous, continuous and polynomial characteristics of the providers of this service, owners and employees in a n determined time; Because the information is obtained directly from the people involved in the object of study is established to the field study, part of the information presented in the research was obtained from bibliographic sources to know elements that make up the research topic such as: which is employment, tourist activities, accommodation establishments, their classification, economic movement was considered documentary to the study; a hypothesis is posed which assumes that the hotel activity generates economic movement and jobs that after analyzing the information obtained, it is established that hotels spend an average of 700.5 dollars per month on half of the establishments, a 500.5 half lower group, investing up to 701 dollars depending on the hotel, hostel or spa, added the movement that generates each is known that monthly all these institutions mobilize $ 8207 monthly resources that are distributed to the city of Guaranda 21.4%, Ambato 71.4% and other cities 7.1%; As regards the generation of employment, 83.3% of these establishments provide between 1 and 2 jobs, while 16.7% argue that it requires between 2 and 4 people to operate these businesses .
