| Résumé: | The study titled "Aerobic Resistance in the Technical and Physical Preparation of Dancers in Folk Dance Groups of the Macará Canton" aimed to investigate the effects of incorporating aerobic resistance training on the technical progression and physical condition of participants within folk dance groups. The primary objective was to enhance overall performance. Methodologically, a quantitative approach was employed, utilizing pre- and post-fitness assessments. An intentional sample was drawn from dance groups in the Macará Canton to ensure diverse representation. The statistical tool of choice for evaluating the effectiveness of the 8-week aerobic resistance training program was the t-test. The hypothesis centered around the proposition that integrating aerobic resistance training into dance preparation positively impacts participants' technical aptitude and physical well-being. The study's proposal entails providing pragmatic recommendations to educators, coaches, and dance practitioners regarding the integration of aerobic resistance training into dance preparation. By bridging the gap between dance and fitness, the research endeavors to refine training methodologies, advocate healthier practices, and elevate the caliber of dance performances. The implications extend beyond the Macará Canton's folk-dance groups, holding broader relevance in the domain of dance education. In summation, this research delves into the sphere of dance training, scrutinizing the influence of aerobic resistance training on dancers' technical and physical readiness. |
