Summary:The knowledge of the HEARTS technical package among nursing staff at Cordero Health Center presents a mix of basic understanding and significant gaps in the practical application of its guides and tools. This highlights the urgent need to improve their technical and practical training to achieve better prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases. This research seeks to evaluate primary care nurses' knowledge of the HEARTS package between October 2024 and January 2025. The objective is to assess staff understanding of the technical package during this period. A non-experimental, quantitative study was conducted, and 12 nurses were surveyed using a Likert scale to measure their knowledge. The results indicated that 75% of nurses are familiar with the package's basic principles, but only 40% have good skills in interpreting protocols. A 10-hour workshop is proposed as a tool to improve nursing staff's knowledge and practical application of the HEARTS package.
