| Περίληψη: | Today, Chia remains an essential element in the daily diet of the inhabitants of Mexico and several countries in Central America, becoming an increasingly popular and common in supermarkets and health food stores around the world feed. These seeds now the world offer a new opportunity to improve human nutrition, being a natural Omega-3, antioxidants, protein, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber fatty acid source. This research was conducted in the Triunfo Farm 350 m in rotation after maize. The objectives were: i) To study the effect of two planting densities. ii) Measure the response of organic fertilizer chemicals and a control. Design complete random (DBCA) was applied in blocks 2x4 factorial arrangement with 3 replications. Chemical analysis of soil and manure, variance, main effect and Tukey test were performed. The factor A were two poblational density and factor B two types of organic fertilizer: Vermicompost and eco abonaza and optimal chemical and a control. The different components of the performance, were not significantly affected by the factors studied and interactions, perhaps due to the dry spell in the reproductive stage. However, this study validated the potential of growing Chia in the agro-ecological zone Caluma with an average yield of 1008 kg/ha at 13% moisture, in rotation after maize with residual moisture what constitutes a technological alternative valid to improve the productivity of local production systems and income for the competitive price of Chia in the national and international market. |
