Sumario:The present research work on "THE DETAILS FOR TEACHING - LEARNING THE AREA OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS TO CRITERIA OF PERFORMANCE OF STUDENTS OF THE 7TH YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL" Calicuchima No. 180 "CANTON QUINSALOMA, PROVINCE OF RIVERS IN THE PERIOD 2010 to 2011. "has the sole purpose of construction of an alternative solution to such complicated difficulty presented in the schools of Canton, especially in School" Calicuchima No. 180, "where this incident details for teaching - learning area Language and Literature in the development of skills with performance criteria and determined students as a starting point the same as that favored the development of research, background, allowing us identify the reality of a challenge to Teaching, which has fought long and so far has not been aware that if teachers do not use active methods and techniques appropriate if they influence the learning in order to overcome levels that we would have liked. The problem identified is consistent with the environment in which education takes place in classrooms with students of the school "Calicuchima No. 180." The response to the lack of importance by the teachers regarding the lack of development of the detailed information produced by the ignorance of its application in solving problems of academic performance. We argue that our work fully grade, noting the importance, necessity, relevance, originality and feasibility. In context where the research work, of course there was resistance in teachers and students to gather information. This is understandable by the very fact that the issue is very delicate and complex. According to these parameters, we discuss general and specific objectives, they have a high degree of validity, reliability and enforceability to achieve their reach and measuring, hypothesis testing, which allowed us to identify the two variables, which were adequately operationalized according to their parameters. Operationalizing all this development have helped us with the necessary elements for developing the tools of data collection. In Chapter I, theoretical framework, we describe issues directly related to the subject of the investigation, which details the teaching - learning area Language and Literature and its influence on the development of skills with performance criteria of students School "Calicuchima No. 180, as the solution of problems, we also describe the principles of strategy that have a special relationship with the scientific theory. In Chapter II, we describe the methods that we support the organization and execution of our work, methods that were practical, analytical, synthetic, inductive, historical and psychological, presented in an easy to follow, so that ultimately we a degree of appreciation feasible and objective prior to determining the type of research, the selection of the universe and the corresponding relationship established with the school applied to the subjects, which was in full (20 teachers, 38 students) by measurable population. Chapter III details the results obtained after the survey, they were tabulated in a thorough and configure them relevant charts and graphs, then interpret them qualitatively. This allowed to reach the testing of the hypothesis and draw our own conclusions based on that make our recommendations. Finally, in the IV, of this research paper we provide the proposed building on the results of the surveys was applied to teachers and students in which it was noted for teaching - learning area Language and Literature and its influence on skill development with performance criteria and give importance relevant to the implementation of a tutorial that helps alternatively give solution to the problem.
