Označite | Izvleček: | subject of study of the present investigation has as purpose to establish that in the Gerontological center of the Guaranda canton despite the existence of constitutional rights that are enshrined in our constitution, the rights of the elderly are violated, the aging process is a stage normal life, so it is necessary to create social awareness and seek alternatives and spaces that allow improving living conditions through plans, projects where older adults are active entities in a process of social inclusion with the family and society , but unfortunately this does not happen, it is inappropriate to continue in this situation. Despite the number of projects generated in favor of the elderly in these centers to prevent further violations of the constitutional right of comprehensive protection of the elderly and guarantee the right to good living, the people in the care of this group do not provide the necessary attention to the elderly which prevents them from having a dignified old age. The present investigation follows the same quantitative methodology that is based on the measurement of the characteristics of social phenomena, which supposes deriving from a conceptual framework pertinent to the problem analyzed. It is here where the breach of the constitutional norm, enters into a great dilemma since the right to good living of these priority attention groups is being violated and what with the subject under investigation is that the right to good living is guaranteed, it is say to have a dignified old age, to live in a healthy environment, in a clean environment, and in this way avoid non-observance of the Constitutional Norm, so it is important that the corresponding changes be made in order to safeguard the rights of the people.
