Opis
Sažetak:This study explored the impact of pedagogical innovation in early childhood education with the support of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on children's cognitive and emotional development. Through a qualitative exploratory approach and a comprehensive literature review, theoretical and methodological research related to the integration of ICT in early childhood education was analyzed. The search was conducted in databases such as SciELO, Ciencia Latina, and other relevant academic resources, selecting 20 articles that met specific inclusion criteria. Studies that lacked detailed analysis or did not meet appropriate methodological standards were excluded. The review revealed that the use of ICT in early childhood education promotes the development of cognitive and social skills, highlighting the role of tools such as educational apps, interactive games, and multimedia resources to foster active and collaborative learning. Key findings emphasized that the integration of ICT in the educational process allows for personalized learning and enhances children's motivation, contributing to their overall development. However, challenges were also identified, such as the need for adequate teacher training to effectively implement these tools. In conclusion, the study emphasized the importance of incorporating ICT into early childhood education curricula, offering recommendations for its successful implementation in the classroom, which is crucial for preparing children to face the challenges of an increasingly digitalized society.
