| Ամփոփում: | Alcohol consumption represents a significant public health challenge, especially among college students, who often turn to alcohol to manage stress and negative emotions during their years of study. The objective of this research was to establish the relationship between factors and prevalence of alcohol consumption in nursing students at the State University of Bolívar. The methodology used was descriptive and field, with a transversal approach and a non-experimental design, surveying a sample of 78 people using closed questions. The results revealed that alcohol consumption is frequent among this group, although most do so occasionally or rarely. Although a considerable proportion of students reported feeling social pressure to drink, the majority did not experience this pressure. Therefore, our work identified that academic stress is a key factor in alcohol consumption, along with other personal and academic factors. In response to these findings, a preventive educational program was developed based on the flipped classroom methodology. The content of the program is divided into two modules to be executed in two days. This comprehensive approach seeks to address the factors that contribute to alcohol use among college students, with the goal of encouraging healthier behaviors and reducing the risks associated with excessive alcohol consumption. |
