סיכום:The research study aimed to analyze the impact of visual content disseminated by the Rural Parish Government of Misahuallí on the promotion and strengthening of local tourism. The goal was to achieve a better perception among tourists, which would enhance the economic income within the communities of the Misahuallí parish. The study adopted a mixed-methods approach, using both interviews and surveys. Through this strategy, results were obtained by employing various techniques and instruments that facilitated the collection of reliable data. In this regard, surveys were conducted with local, national, and international visitors to Misahuallí, complemented by interviews with specialists in the field. The results showed that 77.7% of tourists recognize the significant influence of images and videos on their decisions when selecting a tourist destination to visit. Additionally, most people identified visual content about Misahuallí through Facebook and the GAD website. In conclusion, although the GAD of Misahuallí is making efforts to promote the parish as a tourist destination, the visibility and impact of these contents can still be improved. Finally, strategies were proposed to enhance the visual content of the GAD of Misahuallí with creative designs that connect with the culture, customs, and traditions of the area, optimizing the use of digital platforms, regularly updating its website, and utilizing social media.
