Summary:The project EVALUATION TO THE PRE-PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES OF THE NURSING CAREER OF THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF BOLÍVAR, ZONE 5 IN THE PERIOD 2016-2018. It arises with the need to want to know the current state of practice through an evaluation of this process during the periods 2016-2018; evaluation that takes place framed in the demands raised by entities of control of the Institutions of Higher Education (IES) in Ecuador, for the accreditation of university careers. The research project is considered descriptive because, by means of an evaluation, the characteristics of the rotating internship processes in the nursing career are known, the project is longitudinal to be carried out in a particular period of time, it is qualitative given that in First, a theoretical description of the object of study and quantitative is done because the level of compliance of the indicators is quantified, the population considered, are all those documents that support or sustain the performance of pre-professional practices. The most relevant results are that there is a percentage of 89% to 94% of total compliance or always of the indicators proposed by the CEAACES now called CACES, and 6% where the indicators are not adequately met or there is deficiencies in the fulfillment of these.
