Shrnutí:The research work analyzed the internal communication in relation to gender rights and equality of the LGBTI community at the Bolívar State University, what are the causative factors that lead to the lack of dissemination of information and awareness campaigns about these vulnerable groups and the why? These issues should be taken into account. The document exposes the needs that exist within the university establishment, through surveys and interviews applied to the authorities, estates and external agents that link gender equity projects. The assessment of the detailed research by career reflected more broadly the weaknesses and strengths that the institution faces in the dissemination of information. The development of the project shows the need to create an internal communication plan that allows raising awareness among the university population and establishing new communication mechanisms for the dissemination of information, promoting a holistic culture among authorities, teachers, administrators, and students.
