Sammanfattning:The objective of this research is to analyze the problem of job instability of secondary education teachers due to the lack of titling in their jobs in Alausí, year 2022. Job instability is a growing concern in the educational field, since it affects both teachers and institutions and, ultimately, the quality of the teaching-learning process. In the background of the subject, it is evident that teachers with occasional contracts and provisional appointments are in a vulnerable situation and with few job guarantees. The lack of tenure limits their stability and professional development, which can negatively affect their commitment and work performance, and have an impact on the achievement of educational objectives. The justification for this research lies in the need to fully understand the consequences of job instability on teachers and its impact on the educational system. This research will contribute to raising awareness about the importance of establishing policies and measures that promote job stability and the tenure of secondary education teachers in Alausí. To achieve the proposed objectives, a mixed research approach will be used, combining quantitative and qualitative elements. The methodology will include the analysis of interviews with administrative staff of the Education District and rectors of educational institutions, as well as surveys directed at teachers with occasional contracts and provisional appointments. These instruments will make it possible to obtain quantitative data on the working conditions and perceptions of teachers, as well as qualitative information that deepens their experiences and perspectives. It is expected that the results of this research provide a comprehensive vision of the problem of job instability in secondary education teachers in Alausí. Teachers with casual contracts and provisional appointments are expected to express high levels of job insecurity, which will affect their engagement and job well-being. In addition, it is expected that the data obtained will help to identify the main barriers and challenges for the tenure of teachers and will make it possible to propose recommendations and solutions to improve working conditions and strengthen stability in the educational field. This research represents a significant contribution to understanding and addressing the job instability of secondary education teachers in Alausí. The expected 4 results will be essential to inform and guide decision-making at the educational level and contribute to the construction of a more equitable and quality education system.
