Zusammenfassung:Autolytic attempts are a problem of global relevance, with a significant impact on various population groups, particularly higher education students. The objective of this research was to construct strategies for the prevention of autolytic attempts in nursing students. A quantitative, descriptive, analytical and non-experimental field design approach was developed, using the Plutchik Suicide Risk Scale as a data collection instrument, applied to a sample of 238 students from different semesters of the nursing career, the selection of the sample was carried out through probabilistic sampling, using the finite universe formula to guarantee statistical representativeness. The results of the application of the test were: 37.8% report difficulties falling asleep, which negatively affects physical and mental health. In addition, 39.5% admit to feeling that they could lose control over themselves, 84.5% of the students have not had intentions of suicide, while on the other hand 15.5% of the sample have tried to take their own lives, the results highlight the prevalence of emotional problems in the student community of the nursing career. These results show that students' mental health is significantly influenced by factors from both their family environment and their academic and professional training. Similarly, family pressures, such as expectations or emotional difficulties within the home, can increase stress and anxiety levels, affecting the student's overall well-being.
