| Zusammenfassung: | SUMMARY Purpose: Narrate the experiences of patients with post covid-19 syndrome and their self-care at home to understand, deepen their knowledge and ability to cope with the consequences of the disease from a comprehensive perspective and contribution to nursing care. Methodology: qualitative phenomenological research whose data collection instrument was a colloquial dialogic interview consisting of 17 reflection questions whose data have been qualitatively analyzed in the Atlantis software and refuted with the background of the research. Results: Post covid patients went through situations of stress, anxiety, frustration at the new way of living and difficulty in coping capacity and in almost all cases the Covid 19 disease has limited the development of daily activities such as bathing / hygiene, transfer and ambulation, food, assistance to medical check-ups and therapies. Self-care practices for post-Covid patients have been reduced to minimizing post-Covid syndrome with the application of a balanced diet, respiratory and muscular exercise, use of a mask, hand washing, isolation, vaccination, aromatherapy, and other alternative techniques. Among the consequences that affect the patient socially is the critical situation of economic stability and work limitation. Conclusions: Patients show greater concern and frustration in the face of the prolongation of post covid symptoms. Self-care practices have been aligned to reduce the effects of the post covid syndrome and thanks to family support, it has become a determinant in the patient's recovery and social reintegration. In addition, the patients suggest that the attention of the health personnel should be better, and they appreciate their work. Keywords: Syndrome, post Covid, self-care, family, disch |
