| Özet: | The latent problem is the reading comprehension and academic performance in the area of language and literature of the students of the fourth year of the School of Basic General Education "OEA" The causes for this problem is the use of traditional methods, the lack of adequate didactic material and lack of reading practice, which causes the students to become unmotivated to learn, this has led to a vague level of learning since it does not allow them to develop a fluent vocabulary in the different activities that are carried out in daily life, causing poor academic performance in students. Information sources were collected to be able to carry out the research, which helped us to develop the development of the educational intervention plan with respect to the two variables. The survey with its respective questionnaire was applied to those involved, from which statistical results were obtained and conclusions were drawn. In the end, strategies were established that will help students to better reading comprehension and improve academic performance, since the educational community commits to continue using the strategies. The report is concluded with a bibliography and the necessary annexes |
