Proceso de atención de enfermería para pacientes de cuidados paliativos según el enfoque de capacidades. Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro, Guaranda 2016-2017

The research work is related to, The Nursing Care Process, according to the capabilities approach, which we define later as; (PAE-CP) This instrument meets the demands demanded by palliative care patients, the data found were observed, analyzed and processed under the control and authorization of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro hospital in the city of Guaranda. In the development of the first chapter of the work, it makes a description of the study problem, which is related to the increase of the average life of the population of the Bolívar province, data that has been taken very responsibly from the INEC as well as the WHO and data journalistic studies of FECUPAL. The approach of the objectives, does not lead to the approach of capabilities proposed by Martha Nussbaum, under its ten statements, which are life, physical health, physical integrity, feelings imagination and thought, emotions, practical reason, filiation, other species, games, control of their own material political environment. The expected results demonstrate an impact on the study population, family members, and nursing staff, categorized as direct and indirect beneficiaries. In the second chapter we developed the scientific basis of our research topic, with bibliographic contributions of studies between an averages of ten years ago, scientific sustenance that we have taken responsibly, when cited by the APA standard sixth edition. The visit to the Hospice "San Camilo" of the city of Quito was very important to know the process of palliative care, since this institution is specialized to provide quality care, under the coordination of family members, with highly qualified professionals. Quality, dedicated solely to the care of patients with palliative care, which differs from other hospitals with sufficient financial support. In the development of chapter three we can find the analysis and interpretation of results, the same ones that after applying, the instruments of data collection, to the 96 patients with chronic degenerative disease, the information has been synthesized in a data box, then in a center, with the relative frequencies and the percentage of final data, which concludes with the interpretation of the results, from which we reach the conclusion and recommendation. As an alternative to our research work we report in chapter four, the results or achievements, according to the objectives, we have used a matrix of double entry, where we set the indicators of the statements by Martha Nussbaum, the purpose or definition of each of them, and finally the results obtained during the execution of our research work. To conclude the study in chapter five we make known our conclusions and recommendations to which we have arrived, we are sure that our contribution will serve much to serve the palliative care patients of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital, with the security that the nursing staff of humanized attention, holistic and interdisciplinary, in an environment of welcome, respect, understanding and that satisfies all your physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs, in search of a full life to the end and a human and adequate accompaniment.
