Participación política juvenil: caso de los estudiantes universitarios de la carrera de Sociología, periodo académico mayo-septiembre 2023.

The purpose of this research work is to know the level of political participation of young university students studying Sociology. It is also about understanding the way in which young people perceive and operate in political spaces. It is important to know what their interest is. of young people when participating in these spaces, in the research a theoretical review was carried out, for which authors such as Bourdieu, Parsons, Max Weber among others were taken, each theory has the purpose of showing the reality of young people as to the way they perceive politics or what is the cause that generates disaffection or political interest. Young people play a fundamental role in society, because in the future they will assume important roles for the development of society, so young people must be constantly active in political spaces because they will generate a fair and free democracy. Therefore, the objective population of this research is young university students because in the future they will be immersed in traditional political environments. In this way, the mixed method was used to develop the research because it is collected. quantifiable data (surveys) through these data we will proceed to analyze them in a thorough manner. Likewise, bibliographic data is collected in the research, in order to develop an in-depth analysis of the topic under study. .
