The work entitled: “The right to food and the accountability of the administration of alimony, Guaranda canton, year 2024”. It is proposed because of the transcendence of the right of alimony that in addition to food protects other areas of upbringing that, are translated into the legal as rights, as is the case of education, mobility, recreation, among others. All the areas or rights that are based on the fulfillment of food make up the whole called integral development of the child, therefore, it is essential to ensure the payment of alimony, but in addition to this it is necessary to know how the alimony is administered for the benefit of the child. The formulation of the problem is: How can the accountability of the administration of child support have an impact on the right to food, Guaranda canton, year 2024? Because, the idea of the work is that sometimes the amount of alimony is not used for the benefit of the child's upbringing, but rather, the parent who exercises custody wastes it or even does not allocate it to the child, even though the money belongs to the child; therefore, it is necessary to know that the expenses incurred protect the integral development of the child. The general objective of this work is: To analyze the accountability of the administration of child support and its impact on the right of maintenance, Guaranda canton, year 2024. Although the work should have been based on theoretical grounds, because the legal figure does not exist in Ecuador, which is a serious mistake by the legislator, since, if you want to verify the integral development of the child, it is necessary to know if the food is fulfilling its purpose, which is to sustain the survival and quality of life of the child, in all aspects or rights that this implies. In spite of the fact that it is an uncommon practice, since it is not possible to guess how the research work will end, the present study raises a hypothesis that is based on the fact that the legal figure could improve the way in which the alimony is used on the minor child. For this reason, the following hypothesis is proposed: The accountability of the administration of XIII alimony could effectively guarantee the right to alimony, Guaranda canton, year 2024. Regarding the methodology used, it was chosen to combine different approaches to explore the study topic in question. This strategy merges the detailed evaluation of arguments based on norms, doctrines and legal precedents, with the numerical analysis of information gathered through surveys of specialists. This mix confirms the theoretical basis of the research, which used a mixed approach, blending qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study focuses on a descriptive scope by detailing the components necessary to understand how the right to child support and the other rights it safeguards, guarantee the integral development of the child, which can be verified through the accountability of child support. This methodology does not require tests or alterations of factors, since they are analyzed in their original environment, therefore, the research has a non-experimental design. In the course of the research, information gathered from the exhaustive review of a variety of documents was used, highlighting international treaties, the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, legislations, theories, reports and judicial decisions, for these considerations a mainly literal interpretative method was eminently used. A documentary analysis guide was used to study the aforementioned documents. The field information obtained from the surveys was collected by means of the survey questionnaire, focusing on validating the work through experts. At the end, the main conclusions and recommendations of the work were arrived at.
