Izvleček:In the titration work called: Application of magnesium sulfate protocol in nursing care in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro November 2016 - November 2017, the problem that contemplates the criteria for nursing care in the application of the magnesium sulfate protocol was formulated, it has as a general objective: to verify the criteria in the application of the magnesium sulphate protocol in Nursing care in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy which give rise to three specific objectives such as: design a checklist for gynecology staff with parameters of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy with the treatment of magnesium sulfate in order to issue compliance with the guide ; To support the theoretical criteria of nursing care with the application of magnesium sulphate in order to capture the protocol; Update the knowledge through a plan of talks on the guide of hypertensive disorders focused on the application of the magnesium sulfate protocol in order to raise knowledge in treatment. In the development of the project, it was based on the compilation of information from the clinical histories of women with hypertensive disorders during pregnancy they were treated in the gynecology service; The same investigation projected as a relevant and very important result what indicates that 73% of the study population presented preeclampsia being a significant number; followed by 27% of women with Eclampsia result due to lack of controls or failure in preventive treatment for the development of the pathology. In addition, a questionnaire on the applicability of magnesium sulfate treatment to personnel working in the service itself was used, which resulted in certain shortcomings in the discernment regarding the treatment established in the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador. After the study, the training was taken to the study sample to update the knowledge of the health team regarding the Guide for Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy of the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador.
