Thêm thẻ | Tóm tắt: | Because in San Luis de Pambil, the production of orange is one of the economic activities that predominates in the practice of the inhabitants of this sector, in relation to this reality and the few studies developed on the subject, the need arises to execute an investigation, seeking to characterize economic activity and highlight the peculiarities of the producers and the production of citrus. Similarly, it seeks to list, use of land for this activity, productivity, investment, economic performance, types of marketing and target markets, for the high orange production that occurs in the parish. For the development of the research, the same objectives were determined that allow directing the process and which is linked to the background, referential, theoretical and conceptual framework, considered as a bibliographic basis that allows knowing both in a general and particular way the object of study The investigation was considered descriptive, since the purpose of it is to make evident all those particularities of the activity; applying field research for which it was necessary to move to the parish and apply a survey to people who are engaged in orange growing. It was considered cross-sectional, because the research collects information from a population with the same characteristics at a given time in 2018. The documentary research and application of surveys to a group of one hundred people who meet the requirements is considered as much of quantitative type, as qualitative. Of the main characteristics of the producers it has been obtained that the masculine sex, is the one that incurs mainly in the activity, the oscillating age given between the producers of orange is of 41 - 60 years, whose level of majority of instruction is of secondary. They started with this economic activity due to the need and opportunity offered by citrus production; the land in which the orange is grown are mostly of their own and whose average crop is 709 blocks per person, the hundred people considered for planting and maintenance, invest a total of 6,140.39 dollars, reaching a production of up to 60,000 oranges per block, being largely sold the production in harvest in the same parish; while a large percentage is distributed among the cities of Santo Domingo, Guayaquil and Riobamba by thousands, generating from two hundred to three hundred jobs, boosting the economy of the same parish and even other cities such as Quinsaloma, Ventanas, among others.
