Résumé:The present research project is about "Children's theater in the development of language in children aged 4 to 5 years old from the early education center 'Teresa León de Noboa', in Bolívar Province, Guaranda Canton, period 2023-2024." It addresses several important themes related to children's theater and language development in early childhood. The research arises from the observation of an existing problem within the institution, Teresa León de Noboa, for this reason it was necessary to know and investigate about children's theater and how it is involved in language development; it is worth noting that this required thorough investigation, with the information being based on conceptual theory where the types, characteristics, factors, and benefits of children's theater are found, as well as language development. It was determined that the information was gathered from reliable and truthful sources such as: magazines, books, digital libraries, theses, etc. Our project is based on an explanatory paradigm with a qualitative, as well as quantitative approach, confirming that the research is of a descriptive nature, which allows for data analysis and interpretation. Therefore, research techniques such as direct observation and questionnaire are used. On the other hand, we have the instruments used: the observation form and survey. It should be noted that the observation form is aimed at the girls and boys of the "Teresa León de Noboa" Early Childhood Education Center the survey is directed to the teacher in charge, therefore, the tabulation of all collected data is carried out, in order to perform its respective analysis, which allowed us to argue that children's theater is a favorable strategy for the development of language in preschool children
