| Gaia: | The dramatic expression for the development of emotional intelligence is the main theme from which we started our research work, which was conducted in the Intercultural Bilingual Educational Unit "Alicia Marcuath de Yerovi", with children from 4 to 5 years old, we seek to solve an existing problem that harms the overall development, children show shyness, insecurity, distrust, little empathy and mismanagement of their emotions. In this regard, our objective is to determine that it is important to develop emotional intelligence in infants, for the development of the same we considered that dramatic expression is a tool that allows children to express themselves freely, which is why we designed a guide with dramatic expression activities for the development of emotional intelligence. In the theoretical framework, background information was mentioned, based on information from the library of the State University of Bolivar and the Internet. In the scientific foundation, different theories that explain how dramatic expression helps the development of emotional intelligence were taken as a reference to two great authors, Howard Gardner and Daniel Goleman, who explain the importance and benefits of emotional intelligence. The methodology used is bibliographic, descriptive and field methodology that allowed us to obtain proven and verified information for our research. In the population and sample there is a total of 26 people made up of 10 boys, 12 girls and 4 early education teachers. The instruments applied were the observation form for boys and girls and the survey for teachers. Interpretation of results, by means of the observation and the survey during the time in the institution, it was verified that there are different deficiencies on the part of the teachers, and it was verified that the guide with activities of dramatic expression helps the children to develop emotional intelligence, by means of the drama, the free expression allowing the children to have a moment of creativity, intelligence, happiness and amusement. Conclusions, it is important that teachers integrate in their planning dramatic expression activities that allow children to have full confidence so that they can know themselves and others, receiving, managing, understanding and 12 using emotions, by developing the guide with activities the desired results were obtained, it also allowed teachers to use them for the benefit of infants |
