Plan estratégico para el desarrollo del turismo religioso en el Santuario del Guayco en la parroquia La Magdalena, canton Chimbo, provincia Bolivar, año 2023.

The present investigation includes a strategic plan for the development of religious tourism in the Guayco sanctuary located in the Magdalena parish, Chimbo canton, and Bolívar province. The method that was used in this investigation was the mixed method since the qualitative method was used to know particularities of the place and the qualitative one helped to tabulate data through statistical instruments. For the fulfillment of the objectives, a different instrument was implemented that helped to obtain information in terms of the tourist diagnosis, the cultural heritage files were used, in terms of establishing the characteristics of the tourist, it was given through the survey through the Google platform. Fromm and finally, the SWOT matrices were used to establish the internal and external factors of the place and the PASTEL matrix and crosses of variables for the socioeconomic that allowed generating strategies in order to promote religious tourism through the promotion and publicity of its tourist resources. for the reactivation of economic activity of the sanctuary
