الملخص:The objective of this study is to analyze the National Agricultural Strategy for Rural Women (ENAMR) as a public policy instrument in Ecuador and its implications for Peasant Family Agriculture. The methodology included a deductive rationalist documentary review. The ENAMR contemplates a participatory process with actions linked to the dynamics of the AFC that guide to overcome the barriers that women face. From the results it is concluded that the ENAMR converges adequately with the different postulates of the AFC and proposes objectives and strategic guidelines in attention to the particularities and dynamics of women, with a planning horizon of 5 years, motivates the intervention of civil society through the technical roundtables for the monitoring and evaluation of the objectives, where the participation of the members will be essential to quantify the true impact of the application of this policy in the territory.
