Descripció
Sumari:This research focuses on analyzing the influence of parental overprotection on the development of autonomy in early childhood education children, as well as proposing educational strategies that help mitigate this phenomenon and encourage independence in young children. Parental overprotection, understood as behavior characterized by excessive control and the limitation of children's autonomous experiences, can have negative effects on their emotional, social, and cognitive development, especially in the early stages of education. The research is conducted at the Ángel Polibio Chaves Educational Unit, located in Guaranda, in 2024, where the characteristics of parental overprotection in the families of children attending early education are identified. In addition, various educational strategies applied by teachers to promote autonomy are evaluated, such as problem-solving activities, educational games, participatory routines, and the creation of a safe environment that allows children to explore and learn without constant adult intervention. The study aims not only to raise awareness among parents and educators about the negative effects of overprotection, but also to provide practical tools and methods to help foster children's autonomy from early education. It concludes that collaboration between parents and educators is essential to create a balanced environment that allows children to develop their abilities independently and safely, preparing them to face the challenges of daily life with confidence
