Summary:The purpose of this research is to show the use of innovative didactic material with recycling resources for significant learning in the care of the environment in natural sciences in the students of 4th year of general basic education, parallel "A", of the Vicente Rocafuerte Educational Unit, in the province of Bolivar. Considering that in the classroom there is no use of innovative didactic material that contributes to teaching-learning and for this reason students fail to obtain significant learning; we seek with this research to contribute significantly to the teaching- learning process of environmental care. To this end, the problem that we were able to identify from the research was Does the lack of innovative didactic material based on recycling resources limit the achievement of significant learning in the care of the environment around natural sciences in students in the fourth year of primary school. Finally, the proposal entitled "Design and implementation of innovative didactic material with recycling resources for significant learning in the care of the environment in the area of natural sciences" was developed, detailing the contribution made by the research to the educational process.
