| Zusammenfassung: | This article analyzes the limitations in equitable access to primary health care (PHC) in Latin America, focusing on organizational, economic, cultural and structural aspects that affect vulnerable populations. The research was developed through a documentary and bibliographic review of qualitative and quantitative studies published in the last 10 years in English and Spanish. Databases such as PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest, Scielo, Medline, Google Scholar and Redalyc were used, using keywords combined with Boolean connectors. The selected documents included original articles, reviews, PAHO and WHO reports, and academic texts, providing a comprehensive view of the existing barriers and key facilitators to improve equity in PHC. It is concluded that strategies such as increasing public spending and implementing intercultural policies are essential to ensure more equitable access and improve the quality of health services for disadvantaged populations. |
