| Sumario: | The purpose of this research project was established with the theme "Teaching materials for the development of attention span in children aged 4 to 5 at the Carlota Noboa Early Childhood Education Center in Durango, Guaranda canton, Bolívar province, school year 2025." Specifically, we are referring to deficient teaching materials. Children show a lack of attention to planned activities because they do not have the materials appropriate for each child's abilities. This has led to this project taking on due importance and making significant changes in this classroom. Therefore, the general objective was to determine the use of teaching materials for the development of attention span in children aged 4 to 5. Through the application of an observation sheet that served to demonstrate the level of attention span of each student, a list was drawn up with statements referring to useful activities for developing attention span in children in Early Childhood Education II at the establishment, which was previously made. The theoretical framework helps us demonstrate and fulfill the variables of our research work. We also have the legal theory based on the Ecuadorian Constitution, which came into effect in 2008. We also have the referential theory that highlights the importance of this educational institution. We also have the results, which clearly highlight the value of this work. Finally, we present the proposal, in which we propose some pedagogical activities using educational materials to attract attention. These materials were applied to the children to verify the veracity of our work and the importance of the educational resources used with them. |
