Özet:Potato cultivation is one of the main sources of food for the world's population due to the considerable energy contributions this tuber can provide. Today, the potato is the third most important crop in the world in terms of food consumption. The main problem is the lack of knowledge of agronomic and nutritional management of potato cultivation, driven by the use of chemicals, the high cost of agricultural inputs, the lack of field technologies that improve crop productivity, and the attack of new pests and diseases. One of the main objectives is to identify the calcium- boron level that generates the greatest productive response, the planting density that generates the highest yield, and to establish the economic benefit/cost ratio. A 2*3 factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two replications was used; the research type was analysis of variance (ANOVA), Tukey's test at 5%, correlation analysis, and linear regression. Through statistical analysis, it was determined that one of the best treatments in this research was T5, which excelled in the evaluated parameters: plant height (68.5 cm), number of tubers per plant (40), tuber weight per plant (2 kg), and field weight per plot (159.5 kg). The highest potato yield was achieved through the application of calcium boron at a dose of 1.5 l/ha and two tubers per planting site, with an average of 36.5 t/ha. Regarding economic efficiency, the benefit-cost ratio shows a positive return of $2.71 for the best treatment.
