| Summary: | The research work with the theme "The use of the pedagogical workshop in the learning of the area of natural sciences in the ninth year of general basic education of the educational unit "Chuwitayo" of the parish simón bolívar city of Puyo, province of Pastaza study conducted during the school year 2021- 2022". It is based on the pedagogical workshops, practices or experiments that can be carried out with materials from the environment to develop activities with the students so that they acquire knowledge through practice, in this way activities were adapted in relation to Unit 1 of the text of Natural Sciences of the 9th year of General Basic Education. The existing problem is how pedagogical workshops influence the learning of natural sciences, because it is true that the educational unit does not have laboratories, although it is known that students learn through practice, so the proposal proposes a guide for teachers detailing different activities or workshops that can be taught to their students with materials from their environment without the need for a laboratory. In this research work we planned to achieve the general objective of our project. To establish activities that link theory with practice through pedagogical workshops in the area of Natural Sciences, which at the end of our work we managed to achieve, to fully comply with what was established. Then, based on the data collection, both with students and teachers, we determined the UNIDAD DE INTEGRACIÓN CURRICULAR 13 importance of these pedagogical workshops in the classroom, which are fundamental for the acquisition of learning, since theory is related to practice, and although it is well known that in Natural Sciences the contents merit the practice of workshops or experiments.
