Shrnutí:This research highlights the importance of using the playful phonics method in developing phonological awareness through theoretical research. It is important to note that children in their early stages of academic development lack consolidated linguistic foundations, which in turn has hindered the relationship, identification, and manipulation of sound activities such as phonemes and their characteristic biases. This project was supported by the cooperation of second-year students of Basic General Education at the Vicente Rocafuerte Educational Unit, located in the Guanujo sector, Guaranda canton. The main objective of this study was to develop phonological awareness through the playful phonics method, a proposal that improves the teachinglearning process. By means of an evaluation using a rubric, the importance of implementing ludic activities in the teaching process was evidenced, which facilitated the application of the ludic phonic method to promote phonological awareness, observing that these ludic activities favored learning in the students.
