Sumari:The present research and curricular integration project aims to "Establish the impact of virtual education in the teaching-learning process of reading and writing". It was applied in the Pedro Carbo Educational Unit to 34 students of the third year of General Basic Education "B" and 1 teacher. In order to obtain true data on which our objective research is based, we conducted an interview with the teacher in which the teaching method she uses for the learning of reading and writing can be evidenced; besides knowing the strategies used by her in the virtual and face-to-face classes. Through activities planned with determination, it was possible to know the level of knowledge that the students have in the field of reading and writing; the observation form was used to obtain data on the students' weaknesses and strengths. The results obtained through the observation form prompted the search for a digital application such as Leo with Gin. Thinking about possible scenarios that require the use of this app, a user's manual for the Leo with Grin application was created, which will serve to reinforce the autonomous learning of children at home and facilitate the process of teaching reading and writing.
