Shrnutí:This investigation is oriented to evaluate the sensitivity patterns in bacteria found in canine samples with canine otitis externa in the Pastaza canton through the use of sensitivity discs with 7 different antibiotics. Canine otitis is one of the most common pathologies, in which different microorganisms that can have zoonotic characteristics are immersed and that due to the different treatments which are carried out without considering the causal agent could be causing resistances. Sampling was performed in canines, males and females that presented pruritus, secretions, erythema, once the sample was taken it was labeled and stored under refrigeration until processing, then the culture media was prepared agar Base Blood agar, The identification of bacteria was carried out by means of biochemical tests such as gram staining, TSI, SIM, Coagulase, Oxidase, Catalase, MR-VP, in the sensitivity tests, sensitivity discs were used with 7 antibiotics such as Amoxicillin/Ac. Clavulanic acid, Gentamicin, Chloramphenicol, Neomycin, Norfloxacin, Ciprofloxacin and Cephalexin. In the study, Staphylococcus Aureus and Staphylococcus Epidermidis were identified in 72% and 28% of the samples respectively, in the antibiogram only Staphylococcus Aureus presented cases of sensitivity with 8.33% against Norfloxacin. In the positive cases of Staphylococcus Epidermidis, one of the highest resistance patterns was found against Gentamicin and Chloramphenicol with 92.86%. For the statistical analysis, the Tukey test at 5% was used, where the increase in resistance patterns was evident.
