Through this instrument of public policy, governmental and non-governmental organizations can approach reducing the gender inequality gap. In this sense, this curriculum research work aims to correlate the interests and needs of women in San Simón with the axes of gender public policies at the parish level. This was achieved through surveys and focus groups, demonstrating that women have their needs and interests framed within economic autonomy and political participation, thus validating the hypothesis of this research. To validate the hypothesis and meet the general objective of this research, firstly, theory was investigated that encompasses the needs as interests of women in the construction of public policy. Qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed to confirm the assumption. Finally, the gender agendas at the national, provincial, and parish levels will be compared in order to analyze the main axes of these instruments of public policy.
