Tilføj Tag | Summary: | The underlining technique is fundamental for reading comprehension, which is essential in the basic skills that learners must strengthen in the teaching-learning process, so the purpose of this research work is to describe, identify and apply the underlining technique to develop a more adequate reading comprehension that can be implemented. Among the students of the tenth year of general basic education in the educational unit "Segundo Ulpiano Figueroa del cantó caluma". The initial and fundamental reason to be able to carry out this research topic, It is due to the shortcomings found through the pre-professional practices carried out in the educational units, the same ones that served to identify this existing problem in the students and the little interest in practicing reading since there are no adequate initiatives so that they can enter it, due to the scarce application of techniques that encourage the students and can develop their reading comprehension that in fact, negatively affects their academic performance. To carry out this research, a type of mixed-method descriptive survey was used. In addition, student surveys and teacher interviews were used as techniques that helped collect data necessary for subsequent analysis and interpretation. Finally, it was concluded that the correct application of these skills has a positive effect on the development of reading comprehension |
