Περίληψη:The present work had as a general objective to analyze the impact of television on the evolution of the typical clothing of the indigenous women of the CODICIV organization of Vinchoa, Guaranda canton - Bolívar province, year 2022. For which, a descriptive study was applied that, the main characteristic is to narrate the events of the typical costume, with a mixed approach, that is, qualitative and quantitative due to the search for bibliographic information through reliable sources for its previous analysis. The methods applied were deductive from the general to the specific. To complement the investigation, instruments such as the interview designed for the representative of the Codiciv organization and the survey for the Vinchoa community that belong to an age between 14 and 50 years were applied. As a result, it was obtained that the ancestral customs such as the use of typical clothing are gradually losing due to the current fashion factors, for which, a proposal was designed that allows the strengthening of the ancestral value of clothing. typical of indigenous women on the local channel TV 7. In this way, the impact and identification of the evolution of typical clothing and cultural identity was analyzed.
