Резюме:All management has as a fundamental objective to apply and comply with the different administrative processes, related to planning, organization and control, in order to guarantee a better result using the existing resources in a company and greater profitability and efficiency. Implementing an administrative management model implies the use of technological tools that guarantee a better quality of service. Currently, the management of drinking water supply of the community of Carbón Chinipamba, Guaranda canton does not present an organizational structure, its Administrative Board is made up of the people of the community and does not have a management model that guarantees a quality service that income to support and maintain the local drinking water supply systems. Based on this, this field research was carried out in order to establish administrative needs in the same community of Coal Chinipamba, using the inductive-deductive method as a research method. To obtain the information, a survey was applied to the users of the drinking water service and the members of the Administrative Board were interviewed, after analyzing the data provided, it was determined that 64% of the respondents indicate that the current Board Administrator does not execute a performance control of the personnel and the quality of the service provided, which shows the absence of a management control system, determining the need to design as a proposal a management model for the Administrative Board of drinking water where Specify the organization, the roles of each member and their responsibilities.
