| Тойм: | In the province of Tungurahua, canton of Ambato, in the rural neighborhood of Chumalica, at 2,570 meters above sea level, different levels of macroalgae were evaluated as a biostimulant during the growth phase of California rabbits. A completely randomized design (CRD) was applied; The general objective was to evaluate different levels of macroalgae as a biostimulant during the growth phase of California rabbits. The specific objectives were: 1) To evaluate which level of macroalgae extract influences production rates; 2) To establish the development rate when using the macroalgae extract and 3) To perform the benefit/cost ratio; The responded variables and statistical results evaluated were: Average initial T4 weight of 0.39 kg/rabbit; Average final T4 weight 3.4 kg/rabbit; Average T4 weight gain 3.54 kg/rabbit week 11; Average initial T3 length and height long. 1.23 cm/rabbit and h.1.02 cm/rabbit; Final length and height T4 average length. 6.12 cm/rabbit and h.3.0 cm/rabbit; Initial limb T2 average length. 0.10 cm/rabbit; Final limb T4 average length. 12.5 cm/rabbit; Mortality 0.0% batch; Benefit/cost T3; The response to the treatments presented statistically significant correlation in the evaluated variables. According to the statistical results obtained, the alternative hypothesis was confirmed; The evaluation of different levels of macroalgae as a biostimulant in the growth phase in California rabbits determined its strategic feasibility in the production of rabbit meat; Finally, the results of this research allow me to deduce that the most important components were the macroalgae extract that was used as a nutritional supplement due to its richness in vitamins, minerals and other bioactive compounds. Genetic factors, management, and immunity influenced animal production and welfare. |
