Incendios forestales por quema agrícola en la Parroquia Rural de Santa Fe, provincia Bolívar, periodo noviembre 2022- marzo 2023

The investigative work had the purpose of analyzing the forest fires due to agricultural burning of the Santa Fe Parish of the Bolívar Province, due to the fact that the farmers carry out inadequate practices for the control of weeds, which has caused the burning of approximately 30 hectares in the last year. The methodology was structured as follows: according to the level of research: qualitative-quantitative, descriptive and exploratory, depending on the source of information; field and bibliographic research, for the design of the research the TRES© risk analysis method was used, prepared by (Sánchez, 2018), to perform the calculation of statistical risk analysis, the frequency, causality and severity index was used For the hazard analysis, the fuel hazard index, physiography and climatic hazard were considered, in addition, a simple random sample of 316 people was used, whose data collection techniques were through surveys and mathematical calculations to define the index of forest fires. According to the results, the current situation of forest fires was diagnosed, considering the type of vegetation, propagation, practices to carry out agricultural burning and training, the rate of fires that occurred in the parish was also defined, obtaining a "extreme" risk analysis, subsequently, risk reduction measures focused on various parameters were proposed; preventive measures, forms of action in the event of a forest fire, methods to combat forest fires, classification and use of fire extinguishers, forms of communication in the event of a forest fire and controlled burning based on the inspection prior to carrying out the same, initiation of burning, surveillance and completion and post burn inventory.
