Tilføj Tag | Summary: | Degree work on "Tourism in the Sanctuary of Huayco in the parish of La Magdalena Chimbo Canton, Bolívar Province, period 2012-2013", born from the importance of tourism at the national level, especially for its contribution to development of peoples which in turn are a source of income that benefit people who are directly or indirectly involved with this purpose; For these reasons it was necessary to design a "Tourist Activities Programme to develop tourism in the Shrine Huayco Parish La Magdalena Canton Chimbo". This scientific work is framed in a type of action research, where he raised the question: Does the design of a program of tourist activities in the Sanctuary of Huayco Parish La Magdalena Canton Chimbo, natural resources-will empower and encourage cultural tourism sector? The research methods used were: inductive, deductive, historical and logical, Theoretical, bibliographical and descriptive. The techniques and instruments for data collection were the surveys, interviews and observation guide; through which it became known resources and attractions that caused our curiosity reflexively. To use time and resources a sample formula that led to results for the population 350 surveys and 332 surveys applied to tourists; that is, a total 682 units a population of 2,819 residents and 1,965 tourists. Likewise it was considered an interview to the leading authorities of the canton and parish in a total of 4 units. Once the results obtained during field research were analyzed, descriptive statistics were used, the same that allowed tabulating data, exposing them in pictures, display them graphically, analyze and interpret; finally issuing the respective conclusions and recommendations. The conclusions reached were: 1) The Sanctuary Huayco is known as a religious tourist destination visited by pilgrims from around the country because of the great faith with the Virgin Mary, her visit they usually do with his family, friends, and just a small group visit it alone, which generates higher expectations in diversifying care and / or services; 2) Huayco Sanctuary visitors said they find it comfortable stay; however they believe it is essential to have accommodation, food and recreation which will result in the social-economic development of its people and thus improving their quality of life; It is why authorities, citizens and institutions willing to collaborate with Tourist Activities Programme where training and promotion strategies are implemented; 3) The Shrine of Huayco has other natural and cultural attractions and promote can surely help boost tourism in the locality; suggest new alternatives such as water mill, Pacatón pool, the Salado, Santa Rosa de Lourdes, the pine forest, Cochabamba, turning, Telimbela, La Magdalena, etc., to which you can reach by foot, bike or any other vehicle; 4) This degree work has succeeded in establishing an actual diagnosis which has been established theoretical, scientific and methodological basis that leads us to perform as a proposal of Tourist Activities Program to develop tourism in the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Huayco . The recommendations were demonstrated: 1) Develop and implement a suitable Tourism Development Program where technical-professional assistance, training to develop skills, promote community-religious-rural tourism and improve the local promotion is contemplated; which would result in a growing fervor of visitors who leave better economic returns and would increase new sources of employment; 2) Implement accommodation, food and recreation which will result in higher socio-economic development of its inhabitants; 3) Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Canton Chimbo and implement parish of La Magdalena tourist offices in order to promote and drive-Community-religious rural tourism activities carried out at the Shrine of Huayco for better use of natural resources and Cultural held; 4) Propose policies for conservation and management of natural and cultural resources Huayco Sanctuary. |
