الملخص:The world production of beet in 2012 was 2’80,587,575 tons, in Ecuador it is 3177 tons/year, in Bolívar the production is 3000 tons. The objectives of this research were: To determine the agronomic and productive behavior in each of the cultivars. Validate the effect of biostimulants on the variables to be evaluated. Establish the benefit cost of production in beet. The investigation was carried out on the Antigua Guaranda-Riobamba Road. Three beet cultivars were used with three biostimulants plus control. A Randomized Complete Block Design (DBCA) in a factorial arrangement of 3 x 4 x 3 repetitions. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded: In Factor A, the best cultivar was A2: Detroit Dark Red with 16070 kilograms per hectare. Factor B the best biostimulant was B2: Humic acids with 19444 kilograms. In the interaction of factor, A x B, the best treatment was T6: Detroit Dark Red + Humic Acids with 20162 kg/ha. The variables that increased yield were: Width of leaves (AH) (90 days) with 77%, height of plant (AP) (90 days) with 76%, diameter of the beet at harvest (DRC) with 76%, leaf length (LH) (90 days) with 66% and leaf length (LH) (30 days) with 35%. Economically, the technological alternative with a net benefit of $1.54 USD was T6: (Detroit Dark Red + Humic Acids), with benefit/cost: B/C of $1.38 USD and an income/cost ratio I/C of $0.38 USD.
